CO₂

Sol Bay Gardens' state-of-the-art facility is built around the Green Mill SFE Pro CO₂ extraction system. It delivers maximum control over extraction results, guaranteeing consistency in our oil from batch-to-batch and maximum flexibility to produce a wide variety of products.

Carbon dioxide as a solvent is widely regarded as the safest common method for producing oil from cannabis. This safety starts in our lab, where there are no flammable materials during extraction, and follows through to the extract itself, which is always completely free of any toxic residue. The flavor profiles of our broad-spectrum and full-spectrum oils always use only the terpenes from the original plant itself, and never use any harmful additives.

The precise controls and computer automation of the SFE Pro mean that our customers get the same product each time they purchase.  The versatility of the system means that we can rapidly add new products that our customers demand.

TRIPLE FILTRATION

We use a triple filtration process to ensure only the purest cannabis oils.  Our oil filtration process involves the oil extracts being frozen (winterized) to induce separation of the plant solids from the essential oils.  The extraction material is then run through a bulk filtration process, a polishing filtration process and then an activated carbon filtration process.  All this filtration is our way to make sure only pure oils are used in our products. 

FULL SPECTRUM

Our supercritical extraction equipment and process allows Sol Bay to extract and collect oils into three separate product streams.  After filtration and post processing, we are able to blend these streams to create the ultimate full spectrum oil.  Sol Bay full spectrum oils are an infusion of high THC oil with natural terpenes from the same plant strain.

DISTILLATE

Sol Bay distillate is a highly pure cannabis oil comprised of 85% to 95% pure THC.  We produce our distillate using short path wiped film still technology.  This method produces high quality THC oil without subjecting the oils to harmful temperatures or chemicals.

WATER SOLUBLE NANO THC

We produce nano emulsified THC powder from our in-house Sol Bay Distillate.  This results in a water soluble powder with almost no taste or smell.  We are able to use this powder in the manufacturing of quick onset gummies and other Sol Bay products.

PRODUCT TESTING

All of Sol Bay Gardens products are tested through accredited laboratories which test potency, microbiology, nutrition factors, residues of pesticide, heavy metal, mycotoxins, terpenes, water activity and chemical solvent, food additives and other matrices.
